Receiving Faculty Emeriti Status
Eligible faculty may be self-nominated, nominated by a dean or by regular/technical faculty colleagues. Nominations will be reviewed during the spring semester by Academic Council and Deans Council. Recommendations will be forwarded to the Provost Office. The faculty that are approved for faculty emeritus will be notified by a letter from the Provost.
ELIGIBLE FACULTY:
- Regular or Technical Faculty member
- Retiring or resigning after 15 years or more of service
- Distinguished and recognized contribution to the Institute, including but not limited to excellence in teaching and mentoring, exceptional institutional service and career achievement in their field
