Audition/Interview Schedule

Acting Audition Callback Schedule

Students applying to our programs in Acting for a Fall 2022 start are asked to submit taped audition materials for the first round of the application. Select applicants will be asked to attend callbacks. We are hoping to host a combination of in-person and virtual callbacks with faculty in the spring semester, pending pandemic developments. More details on these callbacks will be distributed to applicants in Fall 2021. Students called back by faculty will be contacted directly.

CalArts may participate in select URTA events for MFA Acting candidates. Applicants auditioning via URTA are still required to complete the online application. If you plan to participate in URTA's and are considering CalArts, starting a CalArts application is an important first step.
