Information sessions

Information sessions are held throughout the week for each of the following schools: Art, Film/Video (including animation), Music, and Theater. If you are interested in the Dance or MFA Writing Program, please call our office for an individual appointment. If you would like to attend an information session, please call ahead.

School Year Schedule (through May 15):

Art: Tuesdays and Fridays, 1 p.m.
Film/Video: Tuesdays and Fridays, 11 a.m.
Music: Mondays and Thursdays, 11 a.m.
Theater: Mondays and Thursdays, 1 p.m.

Summer Schedule (May 19 - August 31):

Art: Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 p.m
Film/Video: Mondays and Wednesdays, 11 a.m.
Music: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m
Theater: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 p.m.

Note: There is a one-hour walking tour of the campus at noon, Monday through Friday during the school year and Monday through Thursday during the summer. Always call the Office of Admissions in advance at 661.255.1050 to be sure there will be a session and/or tour on the day you plan to visit.

CalArts is closed on Fridays during the summer.  Information sessions and tours are not available on Fridays May 19 - August 31.
