CalArts students, faculty, and staff can contact any of the Librarians to arrange to create a display in the library exhibit cases. Students will work with a Librarian on the scope of the display in terms of subject matter and materials. Materials can include appropriate library items or outside items. Displays will relate to the library's collections, reading or literacy, faculty work, or other CalArts related subjects. Displays will remain in the cases for up to one semester, depending on demand. The library has a very limited budget to cover materials, usually limited to foam core and labels.
Displays are created on a first-come, first-serve basis. A placard or label will be inserted in the display with the names of the individuals or group that created it. Any questions should be directed to the Librarians or to the Dean of the Division of Library and Information Resources.
