CAP is now accepting applications for current CalArts students to teach in the CAP Summer Arts (CAPSA) Program!
The CalArts Community Arts Partnership is accepting applications for CalArts Student Instructors (CSI) for the 2016 CAP Summer Arts Program. CAPSA is a tuition-free intensive arts program for Los Angeles County teens, ages 15-18 in grades 10, 11, 12 or graduating high school in June 2016.
As a CSI in CAP, you will be working with CalArts faculty, alumni and other student instructors to teach your artform to Los Angeles County youth. Teaching opportunities are available for CalArts students in the following disciplines:

CalArts students who are interested in teaching in CAPSA and in building a teaching career are highly encouraged to consider registering for the 2016 CAP Summer Residency for Teaching Artists. This intensive 5-week program, beginning Monday, May 23, 2016, will provide artists, who are serious about teaching as a career opportunity, with training in curriculum design, learning theories, and the social and cognitive development of children and adolescents. CalArts students who enroll in the residency will be eligible to teach in the CAPSA program. The deadline to apply for the residency is April 15, 2016.
