Welcome to the start of your CalArts experience. As you explore your housing options, consider on-campus housing, which provides greater exposure to the CalArts community and the Santa Clarita Valley. On-campus housing places you in a position to maximize your experience at CalArts. Knowing your community can create a positive living situation. We accommodate just over a third of the campus population through either Chouinard Hall or Ahmanson Hall. If you are interested in on-campus accommodations, please read through our 2016-17 CalArts Residence Life Brochure for more information.
If you are incoming for the Spring 2017 semester, please submit your housing application by Friday December 2, 2016 at 5pm. Spring semester housing spaces will be secured the following weekend and notifications will be sent via e-mail. Per the License Agreement, applications with secured spaces will be charged a $1000 cancellation fee if cancelled after Monday December 5, 2016.
