Photography Students Selected for "Jeunes Talents" Exchange Project
Alejandro Sanchez and Allison Boggle, graduating students in the Photography Program, were selected to be a part of an international exchange project, spearheaded by the French government. The goal was to capture images of four French cities through the eyes of young American artists. The program, Jeunes Talents (young talent), flew eight American college students to France, where they photographed their experiences of modern French life. Alejandro worked in Biarritz, a resort town on the Atlantic coast and Europe's surf capital, and Allison was in Montpellier, an industrial center in Southern France. The work will be used in a major French tourism advertising campaign and will be on view at Louis Stern Fine Arts from March 27 through April 11, 2009.
