Monticello Apartments (Off-Campus)

Monticello Apartment Homes are located in the heart of Santa Clarita with less than a 10 minute drive to campus. These apartments are conveniently located across from the Valencia Town Center and have easy access to trails with lots of space to spread out.

Room types and rates

  • One bedroom, double occupancy: $1,352 per person per month (minimum fall & spring semester)
  • One bedroom, single occupancy: $2,600 per month (minimum fall & spring semester)
  • Studio, double occupancy: $1,040 per person per month (minimum fall & spring semester)
  • Studio, single occupancy: $2,288 per month (minimum fall & spring semester)

Single occupancy apartments are prioritized for disability-related housing accommodation.

These apartments are not furnished, but CalArts can provide a single bed and dining table at no charge. 

Prices don’t include other charges and fees, including:
Water: $50.00 per month
Utilities: $70.00 per month

Check with Facilities for the current campus shuttle schedule, which makes multiple daily trips between Monticello Apartments and campus.

  • There is easy access to the Paseo which brings you all the way to Valencia Village on Tournament, near campus. There are no bike lanes on McBean Parkway.
