Musical Arts Requirements
The Musical Arts Program is designed for students with multiple musical talents and interests, and your audition/portfolio should demonstrate how these constitute the basis for a unique individualized program. It should include:
- A portfolio containing at least 3-4 original works submitted on our online portfolio system.
- The portfolio should include recordings or videos along with examples of your written musical work, such as scores, lead sheets, sketches, lyrics, or other materials.
- Supplemental materials relevant to your interests, background, and specializations are also welcome and encouraged.
- Live auditions are encouraged when possible.

Portfolio Submissions for applicants
We prefer that you use our online portfolio submission system. The online system accepts MP3's, documents, images and video. Once your portfolio is uploaded, it can be viewed and rearranged until the final submission is made. No changes can be made following the final submission of your portfolio. There is a fee for each portfolio submission you make through the online system. Be sure to submit your portfolio to the correct degree level and program. If you experience technical difficulties while uploading your portfolio, you may send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org for technical support.
