  • Reference and Instruction Librarian Sam Regal wrote an essay for East of Borneo about the culture, production, and affective resonances of artists' books generated in the orbit of CalArts' Feminist Art Program (FAP). Highlights material from the CalArts Library Artists' Books collection and points to tensions produced by institutional ambivalence surrounding the feminist art tradition. 
  • School of Theater faculty Anne Militello designed the lighting for the current production of Wagner's The Flying Dutchman at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. She was also interviewed for their press release on YouTube.
