CalArts Extended Studies announces the return of the on-campus Summer Animation Residency. Summer Animation Residency is an immersive experience led by CalArts faculty and staff where students have the opportunity to study traditional elements of animation within a supportive peer community for five weeks on CalArts's picturesque campus.
The three courses offered in this residency - Life Drawing, Story, and Design for Film - are designed to work together, earning 6.0 units. Residents have the privilege of meeting and engaging with guest artists from the animation industry.
