The School of Music's most recently established performance concentration, the New Millennium Brass Performance Program is designed for advanced students of trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium and tuba. Rooted in traditional brass literature, the curriculum revolves around intensive ensemble work with a special emphasis on contemporary brass works and performance practices. It also incorporates non-Western music, improvisation, technology, and interdisciplinary work.
