David Skelly is a feature film and television writer-director. Over the past 16 years, David has also served as story development artist and art director at Pixar Animation Studios on Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc , and Cars , as well as puppet designer, fabricator, and puppeteer at Jim Henson Productions on Sesame Street , Dinosaurs , and The Muppet Christmas Carol.
David has also written original television treatments for the Disney Channel, Danger Productions, (for the award-winning stop-motion animated show Bump in the Night) , and a feature script for Laika Entertainment.
David has a BFA from the University of Michigan School of Art, is a trained voice-over and improvisation actor, and has taught improv and collaborative story development at UC Berkeley, Texas A&M University, and CalArts.
David is currently in development with a major production company, writing and directing a live-action fantasy feature film.
