Gail Swanlund is a designer whose professional practice includes work for art and design institutions and collaborative projects with visual artists Paul McCarthy, Benjamin Weissman and Laura Owens. Her work has been exhibited at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, most recently in New Acquisitions: Experimental Design. She has been recognized by the American Center for Design, AIGA and The Type Directors Club. She has had work featured in Emigre, Eye, Print, IdN and Zoo as well as been published in various design anthologies including Graphic Radicals, Radical Graphics, The Graphic Edge and Typographics 4. Swanlund received a master’s degree from CalArts.
