FILM/VIDEO, MUSIC, THEATER: An interdisciplinary project that has been generated by CalArts students, recent alums and artists in Havana who have built this process-driven collaboration as an attempt to start an artistic dialog between cultures that have been blockaded for 50 years. The result is a hybrid of cinema and live performance as a way of connecting space and distance through the use of digital media. The performance was built by co-writers, directors, musicians and producers from both countries as a way of finding a mutual and diverse voice.
