Each year, the CalArts Alumni Association convenes alumni, faculty, staff and friends to pay tribute to indivduals who have made a difference in the lives of CalArts alumni.  Three awards are presented at this event:

On behalf of CalArts' 13,000 alumni, I want to welcome you to the Alumni Association of CalArts. Established in 2001, the Alumni Association was created to support a "community of the arts" among its members and the present student body, faculty, and staff of the Institute. Our efforts assist our members and the Institute to continue CalArts' mission to foster innovation in the arts within the broadest context possible.
